Owning a business is hard. Like… really hard.

Starting one from scratch? Somehow both the most impossible and the most rewarding thing we’ve ever done.

The last couple months have stretched us in every direction—building The Empty Cup, planning a wedding, and learning how to hold it all at once. There have been long days, late nights, and moments where we’ve wondered how we’re going to pull it all off.

But no matter what, we always find our way back to each other.

Love is at the center of The Empty Cup. It’s the reason we started, and it’s what keeps us going. The things that make us feel alive, excited, and a little bit over our heads… those are the things worth chasing.
